The origins of the MLG coat of arms go back to The Enfield Cycle Company, which produced motorcycles, bicycles, lawnmowers and stationary engines from its workshop in Redditch, Worcestershire, under the name Royal Enfield . The gun manufacturer's heritage is reflected in the logo with the gun and the motto "Made like a gun". In its full form, the line reads "Made Like a Gun. Goes Like a Bullet."
